The fourth day of REEF 2023
was dedicated to sustainability and awareness. The morning began with a natural
activity titled “Let's Plant Our Seeds”, organized by “Buzuruna Juzuruna” for kids.
In the afternoon, attendees enjoyed local products and delicious cuisine at the
market, followed by a presentation titled “From Plastic Waste to Durable Bench”
by Ziad Abi Chaker. A panel discussion and screening of “Food Sovereignty Now!”
organized by Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung – Beirut Office provided valuable insights
on food security in the region. The day culminated with the short film awards
and a screening of “The Mountain” by Thomas Salvador.
اليوم الرابع من مهرجان ريف ٢٠٢٣
كان اليوم الرابع من مهرجان REEF 2023 مخصصًا للاستدامة والوعي. بدأ الصباح
بنشاط طبيعي بعنوان "لنزرع بذورنا"، نُظمته بذورنا جذورنا للصغار. في
فترة ما بعد الظهر، استمتع الحضور بمنتجات محلية وأطباق لذيذة في السوق، تلاها عرض
ملهم بعنوان "من النفايات البلاستيكية إلى مقاعد بديلة" من تقديم زياد
أبي شاكر. أقيمت في وقت لاحق من اليوم حلقة نقاش مثيرة وعرض لفيلم "سيادة
الغذاء الآن!" تنظيم مؤسسة روزا لوكسمبورغ – مكتب بيروت. اختتم اليوم بتوزيع
جوائز أفلام قصيرة وعرض فيلم "الجبل" للمخرج توماس سلفادور.
